Pricing Policy

Marine Tech Industries Australia Pty Ltd's pricing is kept as up to date as is possible in the fast changing market with regular pricing updates from our suppliers

For items out of stock, on pre-order or order-in, prices may change from your order date to the time the item is available. Where possible Marine Tech Industries Australia Pty Ltd will cover the cost of any price variance except in cases where it becomes economically unreasonable. Marine Tech Industries Australia Pty Ltd reserves the right to pass on any price variances that may occur in these situations

Ordering Policy

Marine Tech Industries Australia Pty Ltd's ordering system is designed to allow us to provide you with the best possible service in the quickest possible time.

Due to the nature of the industry, however, we only allow orders under $500 (including GST) to be paid online with Credit Card. For orders over $500 any Credit Card payment must be made by phone. Any call between a client and Marine Tech Industries Australia Pty Ltd may be recorded for security purposes

While Marine Tech Industries Australia Pty Ltd makes every efforts to absorb transaction fees and charges, for large orders a 2% surcharge may be applied

Marine Tech Industries Australia Pty Ltd reserves the right to waive the above Ordering conditions to certain clients and established customers

The lead time for orders to be processed is 10 to 15 working, providing the correct information has been received. If the lead times can not be met by Marine Tech Industries, customers will be advised within 2 working days from receipt of order.

Returns Policy

Warranty & Returns Policy

Please read these carefully before purchasing an item from our website marinetechindustries.com.

Returning Goods under Warranty:

  1.  All costs incurred in returning the goods to us are your responsibility.
  2. Warranty on all equipment is according to the manufacturer's warranty and at their discretion.
  3. Marine Tech Industries Australia Pty Ltd is only responsible for Warranty claims for up to 12 months after the receipt or the date of invoice.  This claim must be supported with a copy of the invoice or verification of purchase date.  Certain exceptions may apply for some products.
  4. Marine Tech Industries Australia Pty Ltd is happy to provide you with support contact information for the relevant manufacturer. Unless otherwise requested, you are responsible for dealing with the manufacturer.
  5. If you require Marine Tech Industries Australia Pty Ltd to act as an agent for you when dealing with the manufacturer in processing your warranty claim, you may incur Marine Tech Industries Australia Pty Ltd Support charges.
  6. Goods returned for warranty will be processed within 10 to 15 working days from receiving goods

Returning Goods For Credit or Replacement

  1. All costs incurred in returning the goods to us are your responsibility.
  2. You are responsible for packaging the returning good adequately.
  3. Marine Tech Industries Australia Pty Ltd will not take responsibility for any goods lost in transit.
  4. Marine Tech Industries Australia Pty Ltd will not accept any deliveries sent us as 'receiver pays' unless otherwise authorised by us.
  5. A returned good does not automatically guarantee replacement or credit.
  6. You are responsible for checking the specifications of the goods being purchased.  No goods are supplied on a trail basis.
  7. Marine Tech Industries Australia Pty Ltd do not refund goods that were chosen incorrectly (some exceptions may apply).
  8. Items that are being returned for credit MUST be unopened in their original undamaged/unmarked packaging, and will incur a restocking fee of a minimum of 10%. NO credit is available for any freight paid.
  9. Marine Tech Industries Australia Pty Ltd will not accept goods for refund or credit after 7 days from the date of the invoice. Some exceptions may apply for some products.

General Conditions

  1. Marine Tech Industries Australia Pty Ltd reserves the right to refuse any returns that:
    • Are incomplete or missing parts
    • Are not returned in their original packaging
    • Show signs of physical damage to the product or its packaging
  2. If you receive a product that appears to have been "Damaged in Transit" - that is, damaged in transit from Marine Tech Industries Australia Pty Ltd to you - you should:
    • Refuse to accept delivery of the product
    • Direct the courier to "Return goods to sender"
    • Notify our Customer Service staff immediately

  3. Events such as willful damage, misuse, unauthorised repair or tampering with a product may prevent a product being accepted for return or warranty repair or replacement:
